Before sending your OUL®, please review the following:

Before sending your Zippo Outdoor Utility lighter for repair, check the instructions and warranty information. If your Zippo OUL® still does not function properly and is within the warranty period, please follow the repair steps below.

*Please do not attempt to perform repairs yourself as it could damage the lighter beyond repair.
*When sending a Utility lighter for repair, it will be replaced with a standard model (color may vary) similar in style.

PLEASE READ: Royal Mail has adopted regulations which classify used lighters Information / previously fueled products as dangerous goods. As a result of this classification any used lighters / previously fueled products that are sent via Royal Mial services could be returned or destroyed. We would strongly recommend that all lighters / previously fueled products that are returned for repair should be sent via a courier company.

1. Prepare OUL® To Ship

Due to postal and other shipping regulations, the Zippo OUL® must be shipped via ground service.

  • Enclose a note with your  name, address, telephone number and a brief descripiton of the problem
  • Take lighter outside and discharge gas

2. Packing OUL® Lighter

  • Please attach a short note with your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and description of the problem.
  • Pack the Outdoor Utility lighter in a padded envelope or small package.
  • Include a copy of the proof of purchase with your Outdoor Utility lighter.

3. Sending OUL® Lighter

Customers living in the UK:

Send your package to the Zippo European Repair Clinic insured and via a trackable method to:

Once received by Yusen Logistics, your package will be forwarded to Zippo European Repair Clinic on your behalf.

Do not send your windproof lighter to the UK. Please go to your country's Zippo website or contact your nearest Zippo distributor.
