Keeping your windproof lighter in good condition

Refilling takes about a minute. Remove the insert, add Zippo lighter fluid through the felt pad, wipe off any excess, and reassemble. A full fill typically gives around 150 to 200 lights, depending on how long each flame runs.

Replace the Zippo flint roughly every few weeks with regular use. When the wheel feels unresponsive or needs several strikes, it is time for a new one.
